COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES o Annual Pool Fund Night—first Saturday in June a social evening of dinner, auctions, and a giant raffle to raise funds to support the swimming pool. o Annual Community Christmas Party— local businesses supply the beverages, community members bring a pot luck dish and the entire community enjoys an evening of Christmas cheer. o Community Garage Sale—held each year first weekend in September, local citizens donate “priceless” items which are sold in a gigantic garage sale with proceeds to local worthy causes. o “What the Hay Contest”—an annual event held each September where locals and neighboring farmers create imaginative and sometimes spectacular designs using hay bales. Recognized by some travel magazines as a must see!! 1st Sunday following Labor Day in September. o Annual Tip-Off Classic Basketball Tournament—held first weekend in December in the new school gymnasium, this showcase tournament matches both girls and boys teams against some of Montana’s finest athletes. o Harvest Dinner—sponsored by the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and held in the school multi-purpose room, this scrumptious traditional turkey dinner is presented to celebrate the bounties of the harvest. Very reasonable prices. o Valentine Dinner—this mouth-watering roast beef dinner is sponsored by the United Methodist Church and held in the school multi-purpose room to celebrate with your favorite Valentine. Very reasonable prices. o Hobson Crazy Days – 2nd Saturday in July o Shakespeare in the Park (Utica) – July o Judith Arts Society – Four performances throughout the year.
