Hobson Public Schools

Hobson Public School is a K-12 facility housed in a pleasant, well-maintained, single- story, 35 year old brick structure.  A new $1.6 million dollar addition was completed in 2001 and features a state of the art 600 seat gymnasium, locker rooms, and an acoustical balanced music room.  The school has a large multi-purpose room which is used as a cafeteria during the lunch hour and has many uses and functions throughout the year—from cultural events to community meetings. The community is also proud of the immaculately maintained, lighted football field, a rarity in small communities. The excellently equipped kitchen and the three cooks provide nourishing, healthy meals at reasonable prices.  The school mascot is the Tiger and a full-grown mounted Bengal Tiger resides in a glass case in the foyer of the gymnasium.
