County shop – Hobson is home to one of the county shops which houses
maintenance and snow removal equipment.
Law enforcement—the low crime rate is in part due to the fact that
Hobson has an in-town deputy sheriff and is patrolled by the Highway
Patrol.
Sewer system—Hobson is served by an updated, modern sewage system
Water system—the town has just recently completed a 1250 foot well
to supply the town with potable water, but most homes still rely on
individual shallow wells since the distribution system has yet to be
installed.
